Looking for a place to stay for your next Orlando Vacation? Want to bring the family pet along? Melia Orlando is a great option when it comes to pet -friendly hotels in the Central Florida area.
This hotel has it all. Being located in Celebration Florida it is the perfect location, in my opinion, for traveling to and fort he local theme parks of Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld. They provide shuttle bus services if you do not have a car and are very accommodating in the front office.
Melia Orlando is a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel meaning this hotel offers value, convenience and quality to every Central Florida visitor.
Upon arrival I was blown away by the fun architecture and Christmas decor they had up. The hotel is basically a giant circle with the pool being located in the middle. They have a jacuzzi and several choices for food and beverage items.
Chris and I were hosted by the hotel November 21-23rd and here is our full thoughts and reviews of our stay there:
Arriving to Melia Orlando Celebration doesn’t give a striking impression at first. It is located just off Highway 192 at the entrance to the town of Celebration. There are several office building surrounding the property as well as a vacant lot next to it which was a bit of an eye sore. However, once we pulled onto the property and parked, we got a better look at the design and feel for the hotel which was pleasantly relaxing and welcoming.
Chris and drive by this hotel often as we frequent the town of Celebration white often. We were both very excited to finally set foot inside. Melia is a brand of hotels that is more well known internationally than here in the United States. The lobby was adorned with a giant Christmas tree and loads of decoration making my heart so incredibly happy.
Check in for this hotel begins at 4pm. Checkout is at 11am.
The woman at the front desk was very sweet and explained all of the accommodations to me. She also went over bus transportation and the rules for pets. I was also pleasantly surprised by receiving another voucher for a welcome beer or wine too.
Food and Beverage Options: 360 American Bistro
360 American Bistro is the hotel’s only restaurant operating at the moment. It has a bar in the middle with seating inside and outside. There are poolside servers, but we decided to order at the bar straight way since our stomachs were already growling. The menu impressed me with a large variety of choice both healthy and indulgent. The menu was also bilingual, and lots of my surrounding patrons spoke Spanish. The European feel of this hotel felt a little like we had journeyed outside of Orlando.
We decided to grab the BBQ Chicken wings and the chicken spinach quesadilla, both being absolutely delicious.
Located in the lobby by the Bistro 350 was a grab and go area full of sandwiches, quick bites, beverages and more. They also served Starbucks each day.

We loved our pool view balcony and the fact that we were able to bring our fur baby, Mason. There is a. pet fee so I would ask about that upon booking.
Melia Orlando has a dog park and several locations for pet clean up around the property. I absolutely loved having my pup with us and would do this again in a heartbeat. If you have an anxious dog like I do, I highly recommend bringing along his crate as he felt much more comfortable staying in there when we left the hotel.
